Bike-a-thon Tomorrow!

Thank you to all who has volunteered to help tomorrow with our first annual bike-a-thon!

Just a couple of things:

Volunteers – please see Lisha Snyder for your name badges at the beginning of your classes recess (or at the beginning of your shift, if you are signed up for the snack table, etc…).

Parents – If you are unable to attend the bike-a-thon and take your child’s bike home prior to the end of the day, please try to arrive for pick-up around 1:45, so we can load the bikes before the kids are released. This will also help keep traffic moving and not cause a back-up at 2:00.

Looking forward to a beautiful day and a successful event!

Calling All Party Planners!

If you are organized, patient and love planning parties, we need you!!! A sign-up sheet will be available at Parent Info. Night, Meet the Teacher and on the first day of school for those interested in being a room parent. There is generally two room parents per class, but there is ALWAYS a need for additional volunteers throughout the year.

Our head room mom (again) this year is Melissa Newville. Thank you, Melissa, for volunteering to support our room parents again this year! Once the Room Parents are determined, Melissa will be organizing the first meeting for the year.

Thank you for your continued support of SCDC!

Say Cheese!

At SCDC, we LOVE to take pictures of our children. Unfortunately, our camera has seen lots of use and is not working very well. If you have a digital camera that you would like to donate to a great cause, we'd love to have it. It doesn't need to be new and fancy. It just needs to take good quality digital pictures. Please contact Susan (susan.vankirk@suncreekumc.org), if you might have something to share!

Thanks!
