Weekly Director's Update

I know everyone is looking forward to a break! Just a reminder, we will be closed next week for Spring Break.

We hope that you all have a fun and relaxing time with your families!

Here is what is on the calendar for the week of March 23rd:
· Family chapel 9:15 in the sanctuary
· Wed. March 25th Fire Drill 10:30 (rescheduled from the 11th due to rain)

**DONATIONS**
Parents we are in need of boxes to start packing the teacher resource room, classrooms and office. If you have any boxes you could give us that would be great! Please bring them starting Monday, March 23rd and you may leave them in Palmer Hall. Also, for field day we are in need of bubble wrap, if anyone has that they can donate.

**PACKERS**
If we have any parents that would like to donate their time to help us pack the teacher resource room it would be MUCH appreciated. Please email me and let me know when you could help. We will do this over the next few weeks in short shifts.

**SUPPLY FEES**
Supply fees for the 2009-2010 school year are due by Wednesday, April 1st. Please see Tricia!

· April 1st – Supply fees are due!
· April 1st- Class picture day with Kathy Walden – The cost of the picture is $7.50. Info. form sent home soon
· April 8th – Easter Parties & Egg hunts
· April 10th – Closed – No School- Good Friday
· April 10th – 11th SCDC Move to the new building
· April 12- Easter Sunday
· April 13th – First day in our new classrooms
· April 15th – Tornado Drill 11:00
· April 16th – Ms. Teresa’s birthday (Team 2 Aide)
· April 17th – SCDC Family Fun Night & Open House (Time announced soon!)
· April 20th – Joanne’s birthday (Sky Blue teacher)
· April 22nd – Positive Proof 9:45 (information form to come home soon)
· April 22nd – Teacher Luncheon by the Rainbow & Orange Room Parents
· April 23rd – Ms. Wendy’s birthday (Bible teacher)
· April 27th & 29th Heather Rice with “Faith Creations” will have a booth set up to sell her beautifully designed jewelry. To view her products visit www.faithcreations.shutterfly.com. A percentage of her sales will be given to SCDC to spend on the preschool classrooms.
· April 29th – Fire Drill 10:00

Here are a few key dates for May:
· Monday, May 4th SCDC Spring Program 6:30 pm
· Wednesday, May 13th SCDC Field Day
· Wednesday, May 20th last day for 2 day kiddos & end of the year parties
· Friday, May 22nd Graduation for our students in Red, Purple and Sky Blue that are going on to Kindergarten in the fall. Last day of School for the 3 day kiddos.

As you can see we have a lot going on for the next two months!! We appreciate all of our wonderful families here at SCDC. We wish you all a wonderful Spring Break!!
