Director's Weekly Update

I hope you all had a great week!! Registration has begun for the next school year. Just a reminder next week we start enrolling any member of Suncreek UMC so if you have not yet enrolled your child this week please stop by the table this afternoon as next week it starts to open up. Monday, Feb. 8th at 8am public registration will begin. If you have any friends or family looking for a pre school please let them know of the date to register.

We have finished a fun month with many activities around winter and the five senses. Our younger kiddos have also been learning nursery rhymes and doing fun activities around that. So cute!! The children loved chapel this month and especially enjoyed the creation ball and telling the story of God creating this world. Ask your child about it and see what they can tell you!

The month of February is full of fun activities as well. The children will be studying friendship and Valentine’s Day as well as President’s Day and transportation. The children will be working on the bible verses “Love one another and God is Love” and during chapel we will talk about God’s love for us.

Here is what’s coming up next week and rest of February:

Dr. Tammy Gough – Pediatric dentist here in Allen- will be here next Wednesday & Thursday to visit with the children about visiting the dentist –February is Dental Health month.

Wed. Feb. 10th & Thurs. Feb. 11th Valentine’s Parties – 1:15pm
Wed. Feb. 17th H1N1 follow up booster clinic – I’ll let you know of the time soon!
Mon. Feb. 22nd – SCDC closed – School holiday
Tues. Feb 23rd – Pizza, Presidents, and PJ’s for our T/Th kids – more information will come home soon.
Wed. Feb. 24th – Pizza, Presidents, and PJ’s – information will be coming home soon about this event!
Wed. Feb. 24th – Fire Drill 9:30am
