Weekly Director's Update

The kids had a great time this week wearing their pajamas to school and having a pizza party. They all looked so cute!! We have wrapped up the month of February and are ready to “dig” into March. We have some fun things planned for the month that help up prepare for the arrival of spring and Easter. The children will be celebrating God’s gift of plants, rain and rainbows, sunshine, insects and everything to do with spring. The color for the month is yellow and the shape is diamond. We will be working with the letters r,s and t. Our monthly bible verse is “Jesus is not here. He has risen!” Luke 24:6 Chapel time for the month of March is about the resurrection and preparing for Easter.

The kids did a great job today with the fire drill. We rescheduled it from Wednesday due to our state licensing representative here Wednesday morning. We will have our next fire drill on Wed. March 24th.

We had a wedding in our Pre K rooms (Red, Sky Blue & Purple) today. Q & U were married today and the classes attended the ceremony and reception. It was ADORABLE!! Thanks to Kent Potter (Angie’s husband, Luke’s Dad) for “unofficially” officiating and Wendy Crooks for the yummy wedding cake. Ask your child about Mr. & Ms. QU!! We will post pictures soon to the blog. www.suncreekkids.blogspot.com
